Gosport, Hampshire, 4th February 2022: South-coast based marine specialist Vortec Group Ltd today announces the acquisition of superyacht and SOLAS tender manufacturer, Rib-X International Ltd.
Rib-X International offers arguably the largest range of superyacht SOLAS tenders in the world, as well as luxury tenders and chase boats.
Vortec Group Ltd adds the RIB and hard boat manufacturer to its suite of companies, focused on the yacht maintenance and repair market. The move will enable further growth of the business, which already has a well-established market and reputation supplying some of the world’s leading superyacht manufacturers.
Vortec Marine Ltd is a widely respected yacht service and repair centre and brokerage, established in 2006.
Originally specialising in Oyster and Nautor’s Swan Yachts (accredited as the UK’s only Authorised Service Centre for Nautor’s Swan and Nautor’s Swan Brokerage), Vortec Marine now offers this same high level of yacht maintenance and management across sailing and motor yachts of all makes, with workshops in Endeavour Quay, Gosport, Victiria Quay, Gosport and Swanwick Marina on the Hamble

Rib-X International has recently re-located from Leicester to a large premises in Gosport on the South Coast. In the heart of a desirable waterfront location, the business is now well-equipped with a slip, hoist and plenty of space for boat production and manufacture through to sea trials, all on one site.
